NBIA 2024 Wrap Up

As the year draws to a close, we at the National Business Institute of Australia find ourselves reflecting on what has been an extraordinary 2024. This year was filled with remarkable achievements, opportunities for growth and collaboration that strengthened our community. Let's take a look back at what made this year truly special.

Celebrating Our Graduates

A huge congratulations to the 150 students who successfully completed their programs at NBIA this year! These individuals have worked tirelessly, balancing commitments and challenges, to enhance their skills and knowledge.

We're confident that these graduates will leave a lasting impact in their respective industries, whether it is in conveyancing, accounting or beyond. Their determination and dedication are a source of inspiration to us all. To each of our graduates, we are incredibly proud of you and wish you every success in your future endeavours.

Welcoming New Expertise

In 2024, we were thrilled to welcome Shirin Vora to our team as a trainer and assessor in accounting. Shirin's wealth of expertise, combined with her passion for teaching has already made a profound impact on our students.

Her innovative approach to delivering content and her unwavering dedication to student success have been invaluable. Shirin has quickly become an integral part of our NBIA family, and we are so excited for the contributions she will continue to bring in the years ahead.

Honouring Milestones

This year, we also celebrated an important milestone within our team! Kerry Lew's two year anniversary as our operations and compliance manager. Kerry's leadership has been pivotal in ensuring NBIA operates smoothly and in strict compliance with industry standards.

Her ability to navigate complex challenges with grace, coupled with her unwavering dedication to excellence, has been a cornerstone of NBIA's ongoing success. Thank you, Kerry for all that you have contributed to our team.

Strengthening Industry Connections

At NBIA, we recognise the value of strong relationships with industry partners and 2024 was a year where these connections flourished. A Standout moment was our collaborative webinar with the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (AIC VIC).

This event brought together professionals and educators creating a platform for sharing expertise and bridging the gap between education and industry. The collaboration not only enriched our students' learning experience but also reaffirmed NBIA's role as a leader in vocational training and professional development.

Engaging Learning Opportunities

In 2024, NBIA successfully hosted a four week webinar series that attracted a diverse audience of students, alumni and industry professionals. This dynamic series covered topics such as:

  • Insights into the Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing and NBIA's accounting programs
  • Practical career advice to empower students to excel in their chosen fields
  • Interactive sessions featuring special guest NBIA alumni who shared their experience with the course and how it helped them break into their desired industry

The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and we are grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this initiative.

Reregistration as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)

NBIA is proud to continue the high-quality standard of training and work required to be a Registered Training Organisation in Australia. Approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), under the legal authority, National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011, in December 2024, NBIA is successfully continuing to deliver training services to students and create industry-ready graduates.

The NBIA team is proud of all that we have achieved the past few years, testament to the hard work and dedication of our passionate team. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of education and providing students with quality training and support, delivering exceptional outcome. For more information, visit:

To our students, staff and partners: thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Your hard work, enthusiasm and dedication are what make NBIA a vibrant and inspiring community.

Here's to another year of growth, success and collaboration. Cheers to 2025!

Warm regards,
